Guies, it's like totally 2012 or something.
Guies, guies.
No, really, guies. It's like 2012 or something. I'm not fooling around, either, it's like March month or something if this calendar on my desktop is right. I'm not too sure though, considering I've been in hibernation for the past three months. I feel into a gaming coma of sorts. Skyrim and Diablo II and Fallout: NV Ultimate edition. Yeah, I just played so much my brain shut off to handle all the awesomeness. Or maybe it was my body catching up on all the lost sleep over the last sixteen years of late nights and barely any sleep. Who know!?
But yeah, a whole lot of things have happened. Season II of MLP will be at an end in a few more weeks. The episode tomorrow will be pretty epic. It's been established that Twilight is best pony, but combine her and terminator time travel and yeah, it's going to pretty freakin' sweet. Especially judging from that trailer. Oh, Twilight, sometimes you need to just listen to your future self. I do it all the time. I get e-mails from my past self telling me to do some crazy thing, so naturally I have to follow them. Past Whitbane is an ass... wait...?
There's also been a ton of new awesomeness in the fandom. Tara Strong might be a brony, I mean she sang a Twilight trolling clip for us (which was awesome). She's my new favourite person alive behind Barney Stinston and Leeroy Jenkins. You should check out EqD for that, though.
Derpy got lines, got named, got a scene, and then was edited heavily after a protest by some people. That caused quite a division and backlash and many people are still sore over the issue. Me personally, I didn't really care. I know whoever reads this will probably burn down my house, but I really don't care for Derpy that much. I don't hate her, I just don't fangasm over here everytime she appears. It's nice that the creators of the show acknowledge us by letting her appear in several hilarious situations, but eh, letting Derpy get more popular only made the incident as bad as it was. Many a Livestream user were banned for mentioning the incident. But yeah, it's over and done with and no doubt Derpy will get more lines and maybe named later on. Some things just shouldn't be offensive but we're a weird bunch. Let them play it safe for now.
But yeah, 'tis a new year and that means another something or other. I'm too busy being lazy, forgoing by writing projects and playing video games to really care. Jeez, the last time I worked on any of my pieces was back in November. Pfft... not that long of a time, right? ...right?
But yeah, just a quick entry for the new year. Anyone reading this; hope you're having a great year. Tomorrow is Saturday and that means a new episode and maybe (since this blog is empty), an analysis of said episode. Like that will happen.
I'm also looking for a good, cheap art tablet to help improve my drawing (it's worse than terrible currently) so hell, I could be posting art in another month or two.
